Performance Ensembles

Woodbridge High School is fortunate to have a wide variety of performance ensembles that offer students flexibility to choose the band that best fits his/her musical or performing preference.

Concert Band is designed to focus on the younger musician. Students will get a good overview of music theory and develop the technical skills needed to advance into Symphonic Band or Wind Ensemble.

Symphonic Band is an audition only performance ensemble that consisits of intermediate to advanced level musicians. Students will continue to work towards an advanced level of music theory as well as the technical skills that are needed to play more advanced literature.

Wind Ensemble is an audition only ensemble that focuses on the advanced musician. Students will study advanced theory and ear training as well as fine tune the technical skills that are needed to perform advanced literature.
