Hosted Tournaments

Each fall the WHS Entertainment Corps hosts the Woodbridge Invitational Tournament, followed in one to two weeks by a SCSBOA divisional championship. Member teams from the Southern California School Band & Orchestra Association circuit come together to compete in these terrific events.

 

 

Our hosted tournaments are the largest fundraising activity of the competition season for the WHS Entertainment Corps. Students are asked to sell ads or personal tribute messages to be displayed in the tournament program.

 

 

The support of our amazing music community is what makes WIT and SCSBOA Championships tremendously successful! The contribution of your time and resources are greatly appreciated; and many volunteers are needed to help with setup, group check-in, ticket sales, entry, concessions, and clean-up.

ALL ADS DUE BY MONDAY, OCTOBER 12th

 

This year‘s inaugural Woodbridge Invitational Tournament will be held at Irvine High School Stadium on Saturday, November 7th. We are looking forward to a fantastic event with students participating from local high schools throughout southern California.

 

The Woodbridge Invitational Tournament is one of our largest fundraisers benefiting the WHS Entertainment Corps. We would appreciate your participation for this year’s show by purchasing or selling ad space for the WIT Program booklet. This program provides the schedule for the day, competitor information, pictures, advertising; and has the potential to reach hundreds of South Orange County families. 

 

100% of the funds collected from the sale of these ads go directly to the WHS Entertainment Corps and the ensemble of your student contact.

 

Our goal is for every member of the Entertainment Corps to sell or purchase at least (two) one-eighth (1/8) page ads or equivalent larger ad. A personalized ad mentioning your student can make a nice keepsake too.

 

All ads placed in the WIT program booklet will also be included in the program booklet for the SCSBOA Championships on Saturday, November 21st.

 

We would love everyone’s participation in placing and acquiring ads to ensure this year’s performing arts program is a success!

Our third home game is against Calvary Chapel HS at University HS. We will celebrate all EC Seniors tonight. Please arrive for the pregame show to cheer on our amazing seniors as we honor their hard work and dedication. Parents, WE NEED YOU! Parents and supporters, please wear PINK tonight as the game is a PINK OUT in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
Snack Packing Nights
Our home game halftime performances and tournament days are just around the corner, and we’re getting everything ready to support our hardworking students — including the snacks they’ll need to stay energized on those long, exciting days!
